Tony Brooks is the owner of the lion golf academy and is also 1 of 350 PGA Master Professionals in the country.  the PGA of America Created a program to seperate the elite members who wanted to persue the highest education possible within their curriculum. The masters program started in 1969 and is regarded as both the rarest and highest achievement within the entire Professional golfers association of Americas 100 year history. Something that he shares with 1% of the current PGA Member roster. His specialty for his Masters program was teaching and instruction. He grew up in Johannesburg, South Africa as a 3rd generation golfer and has played the game since he was 5 years old. He remembers how he was treated as a junior golfer and because of this has dedicated his career to ensuring the growth of the game.​​ He is also the recipient of the 2018 GRAA Top 50 in the U.S. Growth of the Game Awards

He has successfully supervised 4 teaching operations for corporations including the PGA Tour. He has also overseen golf operations as a Head Golf Professional, and started his career working among the elite at the famed Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades. Tony enjoys running his academy which focuses on the lessons of this 2,000 year old game which was created in China. Educating his students is his priority and showing his students golf is not about just hitting a ball, but rather about learning what you can achieve in life through golf.
